Officers of the Border Police Station I Bijelo Polje stopped and checked a "Jeep" vehicle with Podgorica license plates and a trailer driven by AD (32) coming from the direction of the Republic of Serbia in the town of Čampari.
"A check of the trailer revealed a wood processing machine with accompanying equipment, with a total value of over 6.500 euros, for which AD did not have the accompanying documentation. The prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje was informed of the incident, who qualified the crime as smuggling and on whose order AD was deprived of liberty," the Police Directorate announced.
He will be brought before the prosecutor in charge today for further proceedings.
