The Police Directorate announced that they carried out a coordinated planned activity today in the Kotor settlement of Kavač and in the Tivat area, with the aim of finding internationally wanted persons, as well as things and objects that originate from criminal acts, or whose origin is suspicious.

More than a hundred police officers searched several locations, including two facilities - complexes used by the estranged head of the Kavač clan, Radoje Zvicer and his wife Tamara, in Kotor and on the Đurašević Coast, and facilities reportedly used by members of the same organized crime group, as well as an apartment owned by Vladimir Božović, son of Igor Božović, and apartments and private beaches owned and controlled by related persons.

"During this operation, the police found and temporarily seized four expensive vehicles in garages and private parking lots for checks, including one with a sales value of around half a million euros (around 500.000 euros), as well as around 17.000 euros in cash, for which money checks will be carried out on the origin, as well as the means of communication and technical equipment used by the aforementioned persons, which will be the subject of further checks," the police announced.

The competent state prosecutor's office was notified of the events.

"The police continue the search for the most wanted persons at the national and international level, as well as activities to suppress all forms of crime, with a special emphasis on dismantling the network of organized criminal groups and confiscating criminally acquired assets," the statement reads.
