Marko Vuksanović from Cetinje claims that he is not a member of the Skaljar clan, nor any other clan, and that he has never been involved in loan sharking.
He was reacting to the article "Murder of Bosses Didn't Stop Usury: Usury in Montenegro", which stated that M. Vuksanović was also involved in usury in Cetinje.
"I, Marko Vuksanović, in connection with the article published in Vijesti today, under the title: 'The murders of bosses did not stop interest: Usury in Montenegro' (15), most strongly deny the allegations that I have ever engaged in usury in my life, as maliciously indicated to me in the aforementioned article. I most strongly deny that I have engaged in usury, as well as that I am a member of any group, and this act has caused immeasurable damage, first and foremost to my family, and then to me. I also publicly call on you, as well as your source, to provide the name of any witness if you have one, and I will be happy to respond to it and be at your disposal. I believe that this kind of presentation of information deserves to be filtered and taken seriously, and by no means should it be presented in such a general and unverified manner, which causes immeasurable damage to people who have no connection with such serious accusations," he wrote in his reaction.
