Journalist and author of the show Načisto on Television Vijesti, Petar Komnenić, gave a statement to the police in his capacity as a citizen regarding the communication he had during the author's show Načisto with a person who introduced himself as Miloš Medenica.
When asked why he was at the police station, he said that he had not been detained.
"To be very fair, they didn't arrest me, I was met by three very kind inspectors. They asked me to go to the station and give a statement regarding the circumstances surrounding the communication with, we don't yet know if it was a bot or a real person, Miloš Medenica," said Komnenić.

He stated that he repeated to the police what he had already stated on the show.
"I explained everything I actually said on the show itself, so I'm telling you honestly, I don't even see the purpose of my stay with these very correct people. I explained everything on the show itself, that I received information through the Istina portal that I was being offered to participate in the live show, I don't know from whom, whether it was a virtual character or a real person, that I later found out that I received a request for acceptance via the Signal application. I did everything else in front of the Minister of the Interior, the former Minister of the Interior and a member of the Security Committee. I just repeated what I did on the show," he said.
When asked if he saw pressure in everything, he replied: "I'm a big guy, I'll manage."
Komnenić said he offered to look into the communication, but did not want to hand over the phone.
"I accepted and even offered to provide insight into the communication in question, but I did not want to, nor was I now asked, nor was I insisted on handing over the phone containing my official and private correspondence, that is out of the question. I was willing to provide insight into the communication in question, that segment of communication, that is, everything that I have already shown in front of the cameras and that I have shown to the Minister of the Interior," he said.
He added that he regretted that the Minister of Internal Affairs did not allow the conversation with the person who introduced himself as Miloš Medenica to be recorded.
"I regret that the Minister of Internal Affairs did not allow us to record a conversation with a certain person who introduced himself as Miloš Medenica, because I believe that the recording would help determine whether it was a bot or a real person. It would enable potential expert testimony, I think that would benefit the investigation. We did not have that opportunity for reasons that I do not need to explain," said Komnenić.
