Cetinjan PL (38) was fined 1.500 euros after the Budva police filed a misdemeanor charge against him for refusing to be tested for the presence of psychoactive substances.
This decision, as confirmed to "Vijesti" by the President of the Budva Minor Offences Court, Marko Đukanović, was made by Judge Magdalena Mijić.
Last night, around 6:20 p.m., the Budva police stopped a Golf driven by a Cetinje resident at the Mediteranska Ukica intersection in the center of Budva.
"During the control, he refused to submit to testing using appropriate means and devices to check the effects of narcotics and other psychoactive substances, as ordered by an authorized police officer, thereby committing a violation of the Road Traffic Safety Act," Vijesti was told.
He was also banned from driving for four months.
