As announced by the Police Department, he admitted to their officers that he fired several shots into the air from a "Glock" pistol.
"Cetinje Security Department officers were notified yesterday by citizens that gunshots were heard near the prosecutor's office building in Cetinje. Police officers immediately acted on the report and took urgent measures and actions on the ground, and within a few minutes they located and stopped a 'BMW' passenger motor vehicle with Cetinje license plates, driven by MK (62) from Cetinje. MK was brought to the official premises to collect information, during which he stated that he had fired several shots into the air from a firearm - a 'Glock' pistol, stating that he had a license for the said weapon, and that it was in the vehicle," the police announced.
It is added that during an inspection of the vehicle by a crime scene technician, a "Glock", caliber 9 mm, was found and seized, after which it was temporarily confiscated with a certificate issued.
"The state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Cetinje was informed of the incident, who, after reviewing all the facts, qualified the act as a criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosives and ordered that criminal charges be filed against MK with this prosecutor's office in regular proceedings," it was announced.
