The arrest of former Minister Vesna Bratić represents yet another in a series of examples of selective justice and the continued political persecution of all those who dared to speak out against the system of injustice that has destroyed this country for decades.
This was assessed today by Slobodna Crne Gore.
The party, led by Vladislav Dajković, said that while the true perpetrators of crime and corruption enjoy their privileges unhindered, honorable people are being detained and publicly humiliated in order to send a message of intimidation to all who do not think like centers of power.
"Free Montenegro gives its full support to Vesna Bratić, a woman who showed courage when it was most difficult, and who, with her work and attitude, earned the respect of a large part of the public," the SCG statement reads.
Former Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Vesna Bratić was arrested earlier today in an investigation by the SDT.
Officers from the Special Police Department (SPO) arrested her this morning in Podgorica. She was taken to the "Limenka" building, where the SPO headquarters are located, after 11 a.m. She left the building after questioning at around 13 p.m.
Bratić was arrested in a separate investigation by the SDT, which is unrelated to this morning's arrest of former Director of the Property Administration Blaž Šaranović.
