EB, a resident of Bjelopolje, was arrested on suspicion of beating up a person in that city on February 13th.
He is suspected of committing a crime - grievous bodily harm.
"Namely, police officers from the Bijelo Polje police have undertaken a series of activities with the aim of establishing all facts and circumstances and prosecuting the person responsible for the incident of February 13th, when at around 5:00 p.m., after a brief verbal conflict, EB from Bijelo struck the injured person several times, first with his fist and then with a suitable object, in the area of the head and body. On this occasion, he suffered serious physical injuries as stated in the report of a specialist doctor," the Police Directorate announced.
The prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Bijelo Polje qualified the crime as a crime, and the police found the suspect EB and arrested him.
He will be brought before the prosecutor in charge within the legally prescribed time limit, along with a criminal report.
