Albanian citizens TI (33) and AS (33) were fined a total of 3.000 euros for driving under the influence of psychoactive substances.
Such a decision in two separate proceedings, as confirmed by the president of the Budva Minor Offences Court, was made by the judge of the Ulcinj department, Anka Rašović.
A police patrol from Ulcinj stopped a vehicle driven by TI.
As stated, during the control, he refused to undergo an examination using appropriate means, a test to determine the presence of psychoactive substances, as ordered by police officers, thereby committing a violation of the Road Traffic Safety Act. The court imposed a fine of 1.500 euros on him.
A police patrol detained AS the night before last at around 11:40 p.m. on Majke Tereze Street, while he was driving a "Daimler" car under the influence of psychoactive substances. The test showed the presence of the psychoactive substance cocaine, which made him commit a violation of the Road Traffic Safety Act. The court also fined him 1.500 euros.
The court also banned both of them from driving a category "B" motor vehicle for four months on the territory of Montenegro.
