Former Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Vesna Bratić has had her surveillance measures extended after a hearing at the SDT, where she was invited to submit her phone for a search, said her lawyer Mitar Šušić.
He said that Bratić could not recognize whether the phone was hers, nor remember the password, and she said that she would not unlock it so that the content would not be distributed to the media, which, she said, was the practice in the past, reports the RTCG portal.
Šušić said that Bratić was supposed to be present when the phone was searched, but that she could not recognize whether the phone was hers, since she had bought it a few days before the arrest.
"She emphasized that she could confirm everything and that she could remember the password, that she would not do it considering the age of the device and the time period, and that the replacement of the director in 2021 could not have anything to do with the phone that was purchased in 2026, and that the contents of the phone, private messages, private photos could possibly be misused or exploited for distribution to the media," said Šušić.
He added that her supervision measure has been extended.
