The investigating judge of the Kotor Basic Court, Špiro Pavićević, ordered a detention of up to 30 days for Beranc MP (24), who is suspected of committing a criminal offense beyond the family.
As confirmed to "Vijesti", Pavicevic questioned the defendant in the presence of his defense attorney and accepted the proposal of the basic state prosecutor, ordering his detention.
Beranc was arrested by the Budva police after being reported.
A young man living in Budva is suspected of physically attacking his wife and attempting to drown her in the presence of their two minor children.
He was sent to the Supka Remand Prison.
