Prva Banka: We will request that the competent authorities provide an explanation for the activities undertaken

Prva Banka announced that, due to the temporary external blockade of both accesses to the bank's branch on Vuka Karadžića Street in the center of Podgorica and the inability to access the branch due to the presence of members of the Special Police Unit, it will request the competent authorities to submit an official and clear explanation of the activities undertaken as soon as possible.

They note that the branch has continued with regular operations and that all systems and services are functioning smoothly.

"We also apologize to the clients who were in the branch and who, through no fault of the Bank, suffered inconvenience due to the aforementioned circumstances. Prva banka CG remains committed to the stability, security and continuity of service provision to all its clients and partners," the statement reads.

Police today surrounded the building in the center of Podgorica where businessman Aco Djukanovic lives. The same building, on Vuka Karadzic Street, also houses a branch of Prva Banka, which Djukanovic owns.
