Petar Mujović (25) from Nikšić was arrested at the gate of the Directorate for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs.
He was handcuffed by members of the Danilovgrad police, acting on the order of the state prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica.
The Police Directorate announced that Mujović is a member of a high-risk organized crime group.
"Namely, officers of the Pre-trial Prison of the Administration for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions found several PVC packages with marijuana, a white powdery substance, as well as several pieces of tablets in July 2023, which were determined by the criminal investigation and necessary expert examinations to belong to the person. PMPM was today, by members of the police in Danilovgrad, deprived of his liberty after he was supposed to leave the premises of the Administration for the Execution of Criminal Sanctions, due to the expiration of his detention in the proceedings against him on suspicion of having committed criminal offenses with elements of organized crime," the police announced.
He was brought before the investigating judge of the Higher Court in Podgorica today for further proceedings.
