The report of an explosive device at the Nikšić Sports Center was false, as determined by a detailed check, reports the portal of Radio and Television Nikšić (RTNK).
The media outlet states that, according to the organizers, the concert, which was interrupted due to a bomb threat, will begin.
After officers of the Nikšić Security Department, with the help of a unit from Podgorica and the Nikšić Fire Department, undertook emergency activities within their jurisdiction, secured the facility and conducted detailed anti-sabotage inspections of the facilities, it was determined that the above-mentioned report was false, and that the concert called "Dance 90" would begin in 10 minutes, the RTNK Portal reported.
"The concert has not been canceled, unnecessary panic has spread. The concert will take place, but with a slight delay. The singers are ready," said organizer Sanja Marković.
A concert at the Nikšić Sports Center was interrupted earlier this evening due to a bomb threat.
The RTNK portal reported earlier this evening that Nikšić police officers are evacuating the facility and that a unit from Podgorica is waiting to conduct a detailed inspection of the Sports Center.
