Budva police arrest Russian citizen: He allegedly threatened his wife with a knife, she jumped from the second floor

Budva police arrested, on the orders of the Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) Kotor, Russian citizen ZD (34), who is charged with the criminal offense of domestic violence.

As "Vijesti" unofficially learned from the police, his wife ZJ (34) reported him to the police for physically assaulting her while they were returning from Žabljak the day before yesterday.

"On the same day, in the evening, while they were in their apartment in Budva, after a brief verbal argument, he again physically attacked his wife, threatening her with a knife, causing her to flee to the toilet and, out of fear, jump out of a window from the second floor of the building where they live, sustaining serious bodily injuries," the police told "Vijesti".

The Budva police found the Russian citizen and took a statement, informing the Kotor prosecutor's office about everything, which stated that ZD's actions meet the elements of the criminal offense of "violence in the family or in the family community."

The Russian citizen will be brought to the Basic State Prosecutor's Office tomorrow.
