The Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica has filed an indictment with the Basic Court in the capital against Podgorica resident Andrija Laković due to reasonable suspicion that he threatened "Vijesti" journalist Jelena Jovanović.
Laković is suspected of committing the crime of endangering security.
He is charged with sending threats to a journalist via SMS on September 13, 2025 in Podgorica, thereby endangering her safety.
"Given the nature and content of the threats, as well as the circumstances of the specific case, the Basic State Prosecutor's Office, in addition to the indictment, also proposed an extension of the defendant's detention," the ODT announced.
