Budva police arrested Beranc NJ (27) last night around 22 pm for driving under the influence of cocaine.
This morning, as "Vijesti" was told by the police, he was brought to the Budva Misdemeanor Court with a misdemeanor charge.
The President of the Budva Minor Offences Court, Judge Marko Đukanović, imposed a single prison sentence of 40 days.
As "Vijesti" was told, a police patrol stopped Beranc, who was driving a "VW Golf", on Jadranska Put last night at around 22 pm.
"He was subjected to testing using means and methods for determining the presence of psychoactive substances, and the test showed the presence of the psychoactive substance cocaine, thus committing a violation of the Road Traffic Safety Act," Vijesti was told.
At the same time, a breathalyzer test determined that he was driving under the influence of 1,88 per mille of alcohol in his blood, thus committing a violation under the Road Traffic Safety Act.
Đukanović imposed a 20-day prison sentence for the first offense, and a 20-day prison sentence was also imposed for the second offense, resulting in a single 40-day prison sentence.
At the same time, Đukanović imposed a protective measure of a six-month ban on driving a "B" category motor vehicle on the territory of Montenegro.
