Budva: Rožajac gets 15 days in prison and 600 euros fine for driving drunk, without a license and refusing a drug test

Rožajac EK (46) was sentenced to 15 days in prison and a fine of 600 euros for driving under the influence of alcohol, did not have a driver's license, and refused to be tested for the presence of psychoactive substances.

This, as confirmed to "Vijesti", is the decision of the President of the Minor Offences Court in Budva, Judge Marko Đukanović.

Rožajac was stopped by a Budva police patrol on Topliški put, in the town of Lastva Grbaljska, around 6:30 p.m. the night before last, while driving a VW Golf.

A breathalyzer test determined that he was driving under the influence of 1,53 per mille of alcohol in his blood, thus committing a violation under the Road Traffic Safety Act.

At the same time, Rožajac committed a misdemeanor because he was driving a car, and during the control, he refused to submit to a drug test to check whether he was driving a motor vehicle under the influence of narcotics and other psychoactive substances.

He is also charged with a third violation under the Road Traffic Safety Act, because he was driving a car without a valid category B driver's license.

Judge Đukanović imposed a fine of 300 euros for the first offense, a prison sentence of 15 days for the second offense, and a fine of 300 euros for the third offense.
