Mirjana Popović resigns from her judicial position

Mirjana Popović has resigned from her judicial position.

"I have just resigned from my judicial position. My dignity is priceless," she told "Vijesti".

She also requested that the Judicial Council acknowledge her resignation.

That body today made a unanimous decision to dismiss her from the position of President of the Court of Appeal.

President of the Judicial Council Radoje Korać said that the decision was made due to Mirjana Popović's inappropriate behavior towards her colleagues at the Court of Appeal.
