The Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica has ordered the detention of suspect DT, who is suspected of attacking and threatening security officers at the Konik Health Center on April 9, for up to 72 hours.
He is charged with a criminal offense - assault on an official in the performance of official duties.
"There is a reasonable suspicion that on April 9, 2026, at around 14:00 p.m., the suspect physically attacked the security officers of the health facility in Konik, after refusing to leave the office. On that occasion, he made serious threats and gross insults to the injured parties," the ODT announced.
The detention was ordered due to the existence of circumstances indicating a risk of recidivism, bearing in mind that the suspect has been convicted multiple times for crimes involving violence, the prosecutor's office notes.
