Baranina suspected of smuggling almost 1.500 boxes of pharmaceutical products

Police have filed a criminal complaint against Baranin AH (60), in whose possession they found 1.491 boxes of pharmaceutical products without accompanying documentation and invoices.

The border police in Ulcinj found and confiscated these medications today, at around 2:20 am, at the joint "Sukobin - Murićani" border crossing with Albania.

The goods were found in AH's luggage during an inspection of a bus traveling between Prizren and Ulcinj, the Police Directorate announced.

The Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Ulcinj ordered the seizure of the found goods, and criminal charges were filed against AH on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of smuggling, in regular proceedings.
