Police in Herceg Novi filed criminal and misdemeanor charges against AP (26) after searching his apartment and other premises he uses and finding drugs, weapons, and ammunition.
The Police Directorate announced that their officers found and seized two small PVC packages containing marijuana, a "Zastava M88 PARA" pistol in illegal possession, as well as 19 rounds of ammunition.
"The prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica was informed of the incident and ordered that a misdemeanor charge be filed against AP in regular proceedings for a misdemeanor under the Law on the Prevention of Drug Abuse. The prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Herceg Novi was also informed of the incident and stated that the actions of this person constitute elements of the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosives and that criminal charges be filed against her in regular proceedings," it was announced.
