Border police arrested KB (64) from Tuzi at Podgorica Airport.
As announced by the Police Directorate, he was arrested while attempting to leave Montenegro, on a flight operating on the Podgorica - Paris route, when he presented his passport and Spanish ID card.
"While conducting border checks, police officers suspected the authenticity and correctness of the travel documents, which is why a detailed check was carried out, which determined that this was a complete reproduction, or forgery, of the documents. Further control and criminal processing determined the identity of this person - he is a Montenegrin citizen KB (64) from Tuzi," the police announced.
It is added that KB announced that he obtained the forged Spanish documents from a Kosovo citizen, for a fee of 12.000 euros.
"After collecting information, KB was, by order of the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, deprived of his liberty on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of forging a document," it was announced.
