Vuk Lakićević, wanted by Interpol, arrested in Croatia Podgorica

Vuk Lakićević (28) was arrested in Croatia after Interpol Podgorica issued an international arrest warrant for him.

As announced by the Police Directorate, Lakićević is a member of a high-risk organized group.

It is added that Lakićević has been on the run since April 21st.

"He is wanted to ensure his presence in the criminal proceedings being conducted against him before the Special State Prosecutor's Office on suspicion of having committed the criminal offenses of creating a criminal organization and aggravated murder in co-perpetration, in a way that, as is suspected, he was part of an organized criminal group that was prosecuted last week by the Special Police Department and the Special State Prosecutor's Office for six criminal offenses against life and limb committed on the territory of Montenegro in the period from 2017 to 2019," it was announced.

He is expected to be brought before an investigating judge in Slavonski Brod, Croatia.
