The High Court Council in Podgorica confirmed the indictment of December 31 last year, which the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) filed against 12 defendants, for the criminal offenses of creating a criminal organization, multiple criminal offenses of illegal possession of weapons and explosives, abuse of official position, as well as forgery of documents, fraud and money laundering.
This was announced by SDT.
The accused are Nikola Vujotić, Vladimir Vujotić, Goran Čulić, Mato Knežević, Žarko Vukadinović, Ivan Popović, Vojin Vučinić, Stefan Ilić, the suspended Danilovgrad police chief Marko Drobnjak, BI and OR
"The subject of the indictment is a well-founded suspicion that the accused: NV, VV, G.Č., BI, OR, MK, Ž.V., BS, IP, VV, SI, MD, in 2019, became members of a criminal organization organized by the accused RZ. and the accused IB, whose members also became the accused: MV, R.Ž., AP, A.Lj., DK, MK, SK, BR, JT, NM, JM, AV, SS and BM and other unknown persons, with the aim of committing the criminal offenses of murder, aggravated murder and illegal possession of weapons and explosives, on the territory of Montenegro and other European countries, for the purpose of acquiring illegal profit and power, with each member of the criminal organization having a predetermined task and role," the statement states.
Previously, as stated, the Special State Prosecutor's Office filed three indictments against the organizer of RZ and 14 members of the criminal organization (MV, R.Ž., AP, A.Lj., DK, MK, SK, BR, JT, NM, JM, AV, SS and BM), for the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization and several other criminal offenses, which were confirmed and for which the main trial is underway before the High Court in Podgorica, and against the organizer IB, an order of the Special State Prosecutor's Office ordered the conduct of an investigation and initiated criminal proceedings, among other things for the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization.
