"By order of the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić, criminal charges will be filed against VT on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of forest theft," the statement said.

The police said that in one of the checks carried out, in the town of Kunovo, a cargo vehicle driven by NB (55) from Nikšić was inspected.

"On that occasion, it was determined that NB was transporting a certain amount of domestic firewood without the necessary documentation," the statement said.

As it is added, the Forestry Inspectorate issued a misdemeanor order to NB, imposing a fine of one thousand euros, for a violation of the Forest Law.

The police stated that a truck driven by MT (35) from Nikšić was also checked.

"On that occasion, it was determined that MT was transporting domestic firewood without the necessary documentation, which is why his vehicle was temporarily seized and handed over to the Forestry Administration for further jurisdiction," the statement said.

It is stated that the MT Forestry Inspectorate issued a misdemeanor order, imposing a fine of one thousand euros, for a misdemeanor under Article 89, paragraph 1 of the Forest Law.
