Associate in the Niksic Prosecutor's Office Zorica Radulović was identified as the person to whom the surveillance footage of the Director of the Police Administration (UP) Lazar Šćepanović was sent, and police officers determined that Saša Đilas sent the video to her after he made it.

This was announced by the Police Department, pointing out that digital devices were seized from Radulović and Đilas.

A video was released in recent days, most likely taken from a drone, showing the cars of Šćepanović and the police officers who were accompanying him. Part of the route they were taking was filmed.

"Officers of the Regional Security Center 'West', in coordination with the acting Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić, have taken urgent measures and actions to identify the person who made the video recording of the movement of the protected person's escort vehicle in Nikšić, and to identify the person who posted the same on social networks," the statement said.

The UP added that during the measures and actions taken, several people were identified, namely the person who made and shared the video with other people, which was further shared on social networks.

"In connection with the above, searches were carried out at several locations in Nikšić and several persons were detained, including an associate employed at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić - ZR, to whom, as is suspected, S.Đ. shared a recording that he had previously made, which was then shared on social networks. Digital devices were seized from these persons, which will be the subject of further information technology expertise, and, after all police and prosecutorial activities and appropriate expertise have been carried out, and after obtaining evidence, the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić will carry out a legal qualification of the event," the statement reads.

The UP said that they are undertaking intensive activities to identify all security threats, monitor the movement of serious and organized crime, and suppress hybrid activities and propaganda carried out by interest groups with the support of organized crime.

"We emphasize that the Police Directorate will resist all pressures and point out that citizens believe in the fight we are conducting in cooperation with the state prosecutor's offices. At the same time, we are saying that the response of the Ministry of Internal Affairs - the Police Directorate, the state prosecutor's office, and the state, to criminal structures will be strong and decisive. We will identify persons, both in our own and in other institutions, who are obstructing, hindering the administration of justice and providing logistical support to organized crime, with the aim of destabilizing the entire social environment," the UP said.
