Man killed in boat capsizing on Lake Skadar, search underway for missing person

A man around 40 years old died in an accident on Lake Skadar, after his boat capsized in the Plavnica Channel.

One person who was on the vessel was injured, and a search is underway for a third person.

This was told to Vijesti unofficially by the Police Directorate, stating that the accident occurred around 6:10 p.m.

"There was an accident - the vessel capsized. According to current information, one person was killed," the UP said.

They explained that it was a 40-year-old man.

"One person sustained injuries and reported to the KBC Emergency Center, while a search is underway for a third person who is suspected of being in the same vessel. The investigation is ongoing," the UP said.

They state that the competent prosecutor has been notified of the accident.

"The cause of death is currently unknown," they said.
