The police announced that they had prevented "the activities of fan groups" in Nikšić, and confiscated flares, a drone, a radio link, cold weapons...

The Police Directorate states that they have recognized the security risk and have undertaken targeted and coordinated activities to prevent the activities of fan groups in the territory of Nikšić, i.e. to prevent violence, the commission of criminal offenses and the disruption of public order caused by their activities.

"Police officers, through timely operational work, located the gathering place of the fan group on the outskirts of the city, after which the persons were placed under control, their observation and stopping were carried out, and then a detailed and comprehensive control of 15 passenger motor vehicles and 50 members of the 'Delije' fan group was carried out. Upon inspection of the aforementioned vehicles, the following were found and seized: one drone (which was temporarily seized for further checks regarding the possession of a license and the necessary approvals for operation and recording), 25 pyrotechnic devices - flares, one machete and one hand-held radio. For further legal checks, two 'Audi' vehicles, with Podgorica and Belgrade license plates, were temporarily seized," the police announced.

Several people were brought to the premises of the Nikšić Security Department to take official measures and actions.

"Two persons - AM (26) and IG (23), citizens of the Republic of Serbia, were sanctioned for violations of the Law on Foreigners, because the control determined that they entered Montenegro from the Republic of Serbia and did not register their stay, and they will be issued with decisions banning entry to the territory of Montenegro. One person was sanctioned for a misdemeanor because they did not possess personal documents during the control," it is stated.

The police statement also states that further checks determined that six people were driving under the influence of alcohol, for which they were sanctioned in accordance with the Law on Road Traffic Safety and removed from traffic. Three vehicles were removed from traffic, while 12 people were fined for driving vehicles without license plates.

The state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Nikšić was informed about the actions taken.
