Nikšić's SK (25) and NL (27) from Bar were arrested after a physical conflict in front of a restaurant in the Herceg Novi settlement of Igalo, the Police Directorate announced.
As stated, criminal charges were also filed against SK on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of grievous bodily harm to J. Ć. (38) from Bar, and against NL and J.Ć. on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of violent behavior to the detriment of SK.
According to the police, the conflict was preceded by a verbal argument, after which J. Ć. and NL came to the apartment where SK was staying
"On that occasion, J. Ć. addressed SK with offensive words, after which J.Ć. and NL punched him several times in the head," the statement says.
The police said that SK inflicted two stab wounds with a knife in the area of J. Ć.'s legs, after which J. Ć. and NL continued to hit SK while he was on the ground.
"J. Ć. was hospitalized at Meljine Hospital for further medical treatment due to injuries sustained from the use of a knife," the statement added.
It is stated that NL was under the influence of alcohol at a concentration of 2,15 grams per kilogram (g/kg), while J. Ć. was found to have alcohol in his body at a concentration of 1,29 g/kg.
"After the official measures and actions were taken, and by order of the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Herceg Novi, SK and NL were arrested on suspicion of having committed the aforementioned criminal offenses and they will be brought before the acting prosecutor today, with criminal charges, for further proceedings," the police said.
