The Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) has initiated criminal proceedings against Radom drug lord Boban Baćović and several members of his criminal organization for smuggling around two tons of cocaine.
Acting on a criminal report from the Special Police Department (SPO), they issued an order to conduct an investigation and thus initiated criminal proceedings against the defendants: Baćović and several persons - I.Đ., Milan Tišma, Leon Drešaj, Kristijan Drešaj, Viktor Drešaj and Vjekoslav Lambulić, for the criminal offenses of creating a criminal organization and unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs, and against the defendant Tišma for another criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs.
"The defendants are charged with having, in 2020, become members of a criminal organization organized by the now deceased GV and an unknown person, and, together with certain other and unknown members, illegally transported 1.890 kg of cocaine from South America to Europe and Australia for sale, while the defendant MT is also charged with having, together with the now deceased organizer and unknown members of the criminal organization, illegally transported 250 packages of cocaine from South America to Europe for sale.
"The defendants RB, I.Đ., MT, LD, KD are on the run and the Special State Prosecutor's Office will ask the Higher Court in Podgorica to order the issuance of an arrest warrant for them, while the defendants VD and VL are in custody in another criminal case and proceedings," the SDT statement reads.
