The Podgorica police have processed six people on suspicion of committing the criminal acts of robbery, arbitrariness, theft and destruction and damage to someone else's property, the Police Directorate (UP) announced.
It is alleged that officers of the Criminal Police Station for the Suppression of Property Crime filed a criminal complaint against BV (34), on suspicion of committing robbery, in which he came to a retail establishment in the evening hours where three people were and, while threatening them with a knife, stole 150 euros of groceries.
It is added that due to suspicion that they committed the criminal act of arbitrariness, upon the order of the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, police officers filed criminal charges against AS (29), BG (28), EJ (26) and AA (18).
"In mid-February, according to a previous agreement, the suspects met with the injured party near a gas station in Podgorica, attacked him, hitting him in the head and body, after which they stole several car parts, vehicle keys, and 740 euros from the vehicle in which the injured party arrived," the statement says.
The police stated that their officers in Podgorica, acting on the order of the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, arrested MS (27) on suspicion of committing two criminal offenses of theft and destruction and damage to another person's property, to the detriment of a person from Podgorica.
"As suspected, between November last year and May this year, MS, while staying in an apartment belonging to the injured party, stole several pieces of white goods from the apartment, which he then sold to another person, while breaking and damaging part of the inventory and other items in the apartment," the statement added.
The police said that MS was brought before the acting state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, with a criminal report, for further jurisdiction.
