Businessman Aco Đukanović's ban on leaving his apartment has been lifted, the Basic Court in Nikšić decided in the procedure for reviewing supervision measures.
By a ruling of the investigating judge for Savo Mušikić dated May 20, the supervision measure prohibiting him from leaving his apartment in the Nikšić neighborhood of Rastoci was lifted, while the measure of temporary seizure of his passport was extended.
The same decision also imposed a mandatory police reporting measure on him, so Đukanović will have to report to the Podgorica Security Department once a week.
Criminal proceedings are underway against Đukanović on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of illegal possession and carrying of weapons and explosives.
Supervision measures were initially imposed on him by a decision of the Basic Court in Nikšić dated March 20 this year.
The indictment of the ODT in Nikšić against the brother of former Prime Minister Milo Đukanović was returned earlier for supplementation, and the ruling issued on April 29 by Judge Mirko Kojović ordered the prosecution to conduct additional evidentiary actions in order to complete the investigation.
