The Ministry of Internal Affairs reminds that a Public Call has been issued for the implementation of a special procedure for the employment of police officers for the needs of the Police Directorate, which envisages the employment of 500 officers in the rank of junior police officer, in accordance with the amendments to the Law on Internal Affairs.

As they add, in addition to the above general requirements, the candidate must also meet the following requirements: that he/she possesses a level IV educational qualification, that no criminal proceedings have been initiated against him/her for a criminal offense for which he/she is being prosecuted ex officio, that he/she has a special mental and physical ability to perform police duties, and that there are no security obstacles to performing police duties.

"Also, a person who enters into an employment relationship as a junior police officer cannot be older than 32 years old on the date of submitting an application for a public call, and a person who has previous work experience in the Police, Ministry, state administration body responsible for defense affairs, National Security Agency or administrative body responsible for the execution of criminal sanctions, may enter into an employment relationship if he or she is not older than 40 years old on the date of submitting an application for a public call.

Candidates can apply within 20 days from the date of publication of the public call, until June 25th.
