Serbian citizen MV (57) was found guilty and sentenced to 15 days in prison for driving under the influence of alcohol.
"He was tried in an urgent procedure due to reasonable suspicion that on Friday (June 12) at around 18 pm he was driving a passenger motor vehicle on a local road in Budva under the influence of 2,28 per mille of alcohol in his blood, after which he was removed from traffic, arrested and brought to court within the legal deadline. As a foreign citizen, immediately after the decision was announced, he was sent to UIKS Spuž to serve his sentence, and he was also banned from driving vehicles for a period of 4 months on the territory of Montenegro, which will be enforced by the Police Directorate after serving his prison sentence," announced the President of the Budva Minor Offences Court, Marko Đukanović.
