Plav police officers searched the apartment and other premises used by ER (51) from Gusinje, suspected of attempted murder, and seized two firearms and ammunition, the Police Directorate announced.
As they state, acting on a court order, police officers searched the apartment and other premises used by suspect ER, during which firearms with valid documentation were found and seized, namely: a "Baikal" rifle, a "Zastava" rifle, as well as 141 pieces of ammunition of various types and calibers.
They remind you that yesterday a "Berreta" pistol was seized from the suspect, which is suspected of being used in the commission of the crime.
"In order to prevent the misuse of firearms, the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Weapons provides for a periodic review of the fulfillment of the conditions and justification for possession of weapons, with the aim of strengthening control over legal ownership, improving the safety of citizens and reducing security risks associated with irresponsible or illegal possession of firearms," the statement states.
