A 26-year-old Ukrainian citizen, VK, was sentenced to 11 months in prison for sexually harassing three minors in Herceg Novi in mid-November last year.
The Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Herceg Novi responded to "Vijesti", stating that the first-instance verdict was issued at the beginning of June.
"On December 8, 2025, the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Herceg Novi, after conducting an investigation, filed an indictment against Ukrainian citizen VK for the criminal offense of sexual harassment. By the verdict of the Basic Court in Herceg Novi, published in June 2026, the defendant was sentenced to 11 months in prison. The defendant is in custody," the ODT explained.
A Ukrainian man was arrested on November 15, 2025, in Herceg Novi on suspicion of harassing three minors.
As explained by the Police Directorate, he sexually harassed minors with non-verbal behavior, gestures, and verbal address that had a sexual connotation, which according to the law constitutes a criminal offense.
According to information from "Vijesti", the suspect approached girls who were having dinner in a cafe in Igalo, offered them money to come home with him, and while doing so, licked himself and made gestures in a way that had a sexual connotation.
He was deprived of his liberty after the mother of one of the girls filed a criminal complaint.
