Detention extended for another three months for Filipović, Golubović, Adžijusufović, Vujisić, Pejić, Krsmanović and Borančić

The Supreme Court of Montenegro extended the detention for another three months, until October 15, 2026, of Svetislav Filipović, Boban Golubović, Emin Adžijusufović, Božo Vujisić, Pavle Pejić, Petar Krsmanović and Enes Borančić.

"The Council of the Supreme Court of Montenegro, deciding on the proposal of the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica dated July 06, 2026, to extend the detention of the defendants SF, B. G, EA, BV, PP, PK and EB, has issued a decision to extend the detention of all defendants for another three months, i.e. until October 15, 2026," the statement states.

The Supreme Court said that Filipović's detention was extended due to the continued criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs, the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs, and the criminal offense of illicit trafficking in weapons and explosives.

"The Supreme Court extended SF's detention due to the risk of flight," the statement reads.

Golubović's detention was extended for the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs as co-perpetrator.

"The detention was extended due to the risk of flight and the risk of reoffending," the Supreme Court said.

Adžijusufović's detention was extended for two criminal offenses: unauthorized production and possession and distribution of narcotic drugs.

"The detention was extended due to the risk of flight," the Supreme Court said.

Vujisć's detention was extended for two criminal offenses of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs.

"The detention was extended due to the risk of escape and the risk of repeating the criminal offense," the Supreme Court said.

Pejić's detention was extended for two criminal offenses of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotics.

"The detention was extended due to the risk of flight," the Supreme Court said.

The detention of Krsmanović and Borančić was extended for the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs as co-perpetrators.

"Their detention has been extended due to the risk of flight," the Supreme Court said.

The statement states that all defendants were initially detained by a decision of the investigating judge of the Higher Court in Podgorica dated April 17, 2026, and extended by a decision of the council of that court dated May 14, 2026.

"According to this decision of the Supreme Court of Montenegro, detention may last until October 15, 2026," the statement concludes.
