Bečić: Strikes on all forms of crime and all criminal organizations almost hourly

Strikes on all forms of crime and all criminal organizations are taking place almost hourly, announced Deputy Prime Minister for Security, Defense, Fight against Crime and Internal Policy Aleksa Bečić this evening.

He stated this in a statement regarding the arrest in Belgrade today of Vuk Vulević, who is suspected of being part of the organized crime group of Vaso Ulic and Radoje Zvicer.

"Tonight, another great news for the security sector and the rule of law in Montenegro. It has been confirmed that fugitive Vuk Vulević, who is charged in Montenegro with committing serious crimes, has been deprived of his liberty according to a Montenegrin international arrest warrant. The impressive series of deprivations of liberty of the most significant fugitives from justice continues and their number is significantly reduced. Former local sheriffs and governors when the security sector was run by crime, are today either in the Spuž or in a panicked flight with a clean and professional security sector," Bečić emphasized in a statement.

He added that "almost no week goes by that we don't have significant fugitives from justice arrested."

Montenegro and its institutions, with excellent international cooperation, are finally on opposite sides with mafia structures and in direct conflict. Every day, one victory until the final cleansing, healing and bringing to justice of all those who are steeped in crime. There is no longer that name that can have the protection of the state. The state is finally above all. It continues until the final victory," Bečić said.
