A woman from Niš who was treated at the Special Hospital for Orthopedics, Neurosurgery and Neurology "Vaso Ćuković" there after yesterday's traffic accident near Risan appealed to the state of Serbia and the city of Niš to help provide transportation for the return of the injured to that country.
A 21-year-old girl from Serbia died in the accident, and the director of the Risan hospital said that the other 16 injured were citizens of that country.
"The three of us are currently being held in Risan, and we were told that they would release us after 21 pm tonight, and that we would have to provide our own transportation. A doctor told me that 'I can go back by bus because I am mobile'. I have three cracked ribs, and the other two passengers are even more seriously injured, because they have multiple fractures to their faces and bodies," said the Niš woman, as reported by Danas, which states that she contacted the editorial office of that media outlet through a relative.
She reminded that today is the Statehood Day of Montenegro, adding that everything is subordinate to that, and that state representatives will only visit them tonight, writes Danas.
