Kotor: A minor and two young men are suspected of an attack in Kotor

Kotor police have filed criminal charges against three people, including a minor, on suspicion of causing serious bodily harm to a person.

The fight, according to the Police Directorate, took place on July 14th, at around 1:20 a.m. on the city waterfront in Kotor.

"On that occasion, a person (27) from Kotor suffered a serious physical injury in the form of a double spiral fracture of the right lower leg from three persons unknown to him, after which the perpetrators fled in an unknown direction before police officers arrived at the scene. Taking comprehensive measures and actions within their jurisdiction, police officers from the Kotor Security Department shed light on the event and identified the perpetrators, after which, upon the order of the competent court, they conducted searches at two locations in the Kotor municipality. During the above activities, AT (19) from Kotor, BP (19) from Tivat and a 17-year-old minor from Kotor were found," the police announced.

It is added that during the search of the location used by AT, a firearm with 12 rounds of ammunition, with a valid firearms license in the name of the parents, was seized. The weapon was temporarily seized for preventive reasons.

"After conducting criminal investigations and collecting information, the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor was informed about everything, who stated that criminal charges should be filed against AT, BP and the minor in regular proceedings due to reasonable suspicion that they, as co-perpetrators, committed the criminal offense of grievous bodily harm. A misdemeanor charge will be filed against another identified person, JP (19) from Kotor, who participated in the aforementioned event, for committing a misdemeanor under the Law on Public Order and Peace," it was announced.
