Pellet factory worker G.Š. (43) was seriously injured after a pallet of beech boards fell on him at the production facility of the company "Pelengić Trade" in the Nedakusi settlement in Bijelo Polje.
As "Vijesti" learned from the Bijelo Polje Hospital, a pallet of beech planks fell on a worker while he was performing his work tasks, causing him extremely serious, life-threatening injuries.
According to the same information, after being treated at the Bijelo Polje Hospital, G.Š. was urgently transported to the Clinical Center of Montenegro (KCCG) in Podgorica.
The Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) in Bijelo Polje announced that the prosecutor on duty at that prosecutor's office conducted an on-site investigation.
"The injury occurred while lifting a pallet with timber using a working machine - a forklift, after which the timber - planks fell on the worker, causing him to sustain injuries," the Bijelo Polje ODT told "Vijesti".
