Bogdanović: Only subsequent events will show what the criminal octopus was ready for

Secretary General and head of the Democrats parliamentary group, Boris Bogdanović, said that those who "turned the country into a route for smuggled cigarettes" should be "giving lessons on security" today.

The Sky correspondence shows what Montenegro has been watching, feeling and paying for for years, through official badges, checkpoints, tips, escorts, telephones and people that the former regime brought to the Police and ANB for years. That is why it is clear today why they are screaming so much for vetting. That is why they are bothered by every purge of police officers who, on the orders of the top of the government at the time, were following trucks full of smuggled cigarettes. That is why every publication hurts them. That is why they tremble at every new piece of evidence," Bogdanović said.

That is why, as he said, they "fled from the session" of the Parliamentary Committee for Security and Defense, at which the Director of the Police Administration defended the semi-annual report.

"They fled because they know that they planted more criminals in the police and services than the Skaljar and Kavak clans can gather together today. That is their true legacy. Not European integration. Not patriotism. Not institutions. But a state in which a cigarette truck has a police escort, a smuggler has a tip-off, a criminal has his director, and a citizen has change. And now, when that network is falling apart, the DPS is feigning concern for the institutions. Those who turned the state into a route for smuggled cigarettes should be giving lessons on security today. Those who were silent while crime had a uniform should be questioning those who take off its badge today. Congratulations to Bečić, Šaranović, Novović. Šćepanović, Šuković, and Janović.
