Obradović: Serbs in Montenegro are not afraid of anyone, find out who is behind the shameful inscription

The Serbian people in Montenegro are not afraid of anyone and have been confirming this since their existence, said Vaso Obradović, a member of parliament from New Serbian Democracy and president of the party's board in Bijelo Polje.

"It is absolutely unacceptable that in 2026 in Montenegro, in a city where, according to the latest census, more than 43 percent of Serbs live, Ustasha inscriptions 'Serbs on willows' appear on the walls. The competent authorities must urgently find the 'authors' of this shameful inscription and determine all the circumstances of the case, especially considering that in the past we have witnessed similar messages addressed to other peoples, whose creators were connected to the darkest parts of the Montenegrin underworld," the statement reads.

"We suspect that behind this inscription is the same hand that in 2020 in Pljevlja, for the sake of its sinister intentions, wrote the most disgusting graffiti of hatred directed against the Bosniak people, wanting to blame the Serbian people for it, and which has now assessed that it is necessary to intimidate the Serbian people in Montenegro in the same way. We must disappoint them, the Serbian people in Montenegro are not afraid of anyone and have confirmed this since their existence, and the New Serbian Democracy and its political representatives are one of the guarantors of its security, as well as the overall peace and stability of Montenegro," said Obradović.
