Three armed robbers broke into a large supermarket in the center of Budva last night at around 23 p.m., overpowered two employees, and at gunpoint stole several hundred thousand euros from the safe.
This was confirmed by "Vijesti" from several sources.
This is a supermarket owned by the company "Megapromet" in the very center of the city, one of the busiest in the chain owned by this company in the metropolis of tourism.
As "Vijesti" learns, the supermarket was not open and there were two workers in it at the time.
Masked robbers armed with pistols broke into the building, pointed their guns at the workers and asked them to open the safe, from which they took a large sum of money.
The police are investigating the entire case, and surveillance camera footage from the store itself, as well as surrounding buildings, has been seized.
Stores from this company's chain have been targets of robbers in previous years.
