The "Adriatica" restaurant and beach complex in Kamenari has been sealed off

The multi-million-dollar complex of the Adriatic Catering company, which includes a fishing village with the Adriatica restaurant and a beach in Kamenari in Boka Bay, has been closed because, in a joint operation, officers from the Tax Administration and the Crime Prevention Sector identified a number of irregularities in business operations, Vijesti has learned.

The tax administration and police identified numerous deficiencies during an examination of the company's business books, which led to fines of almost 10.000 euros being imposed in the first phase.

Due to suspicions that money laundering may be involved, the Police Directorate will continue with a detailed check of business documentation in order to determine where the capital for valuable complexes in the most beautiful locations in the Bay of Kotor, as well as in Drobni Pijesak, comes from.

Within this company, which was controlled by the police and the Tax Administration, there is also a beach bar called "Lucky Beach", which was also fined 2.000 euros for irregularities in its operations and was sealed after a joint visit by officials from the two state administrations.

Due to the irregularities identified, the "Pura Vida" beach bar on Drobni Pijesak, the "Forca" souvenir shop in Kotor, as well as the fast food restaurant at the entrance to the Old Town, were also closed today.
