The Police Department has warned citizens to stay in their homes while they search for suspect Mihailo Šabunjin (30), the armed perpetrator of a triple murder at a shooting range in Danilovgrad.
As announced, the perpetrator used a firearm to kill Petar Globarević (24) from Podgorica, Momir Radonjić (67) from Danilovgrad and Nemanja Kapor (20) from Podgorica, employees of the "Češka zbrojevka" shooting range near Danilovgrad.
According to "Vijesti", the bodies of three instructors have been found. Police suspect that the perpetrator killed three employees at the shooting range and then fled, and are searching for the suspect. Criminal investigation and downloading of footage from the range's cameras are underway.
According to initial information, the person the police are looking for rented a weapon at that shooting range today.
"Considering that the armed perpetrator has left the scene and poses a danger, we urge citizens to remain in their homes until the police have the perpetrator they are looking for under control, and to be cautious in communicating with unknown persons and to report any suspicious behavior to the nearest police station," the police said.
They add that, after collecting information, the police will release a photo and provide a description of the person.
"Strong police forces - the Special Police Unit and Special Police Units - have been deployed to find the perpetrator. A blockade of a narrow and wider area has been established in several cities. All necessary measures and actions are being taken in coordination with the competent prosecutor's office to identify and find the perpetrator and shed light on the incident," they announced.

Previously, police announced that at around 5:00 p.m. today, the owner of the shooting range informed them that he had found the lifeless bodies of three men.
"Police officers, in cooperation and on the order of the state prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, are undertaking on-site and reconnaissance measures and actions, with the aim of determining the circumstances under which the use of firearms and the death of these three persons occurred," the Police Directorate announced.
It is added that after the crime scene investigation, identification of the person and initial intervention measures, the public will be informed in a timely manner.
As announced by the Police Directorate, the perpetrator used firearms to kill PG (24) from Podgorica, MR (67) from Danilovgrad and NK (20) from Podgorica.
