The Police Directorate announced that at a rally in Cetinje today, video content was shown on a video beam, which featured, among other things, internationally wanted person Nenad Kaluđerović.
The police have been searching for Kaluđerović since April 2023 on suspicion that he is a member of Radoje Zvicer's 33-member organized crime group responsible for the double murder of Damir Hodžić and his son-in-law Adis Spahić, who had no criminal record, in Stanjevića rupa in Spuž, as well as the kidnapping and murder of Milo Radulović, known as Kapetan.
He was charged with complicity in the murder of Dalibor Đurić, a resident of Škalja, or aggravated murder by aiding and abetting, in September 2016.
The police also stated that two drones illegally flew over the rally today.
In Cetinje, it is added, on the path leading from the Cetinje Monastery to the Church on Ćipur, from 6 to 7:15 p.m., a public gathering was held, which was reported to the Cetinje Security Department under the name "Cetinje Remembers", organized by the NGO "Centre for Civil Rights".
"During the public gathering, the organizer showed video content on a video beam, which included, among other things, the internationally wanted person Nenad Kaluđerović. In addition, despite the public announcement that the police would be recording the public gathering in accordance with the Law on Internal Affairs and despite the warning that drone flights at this gathering were not allowed, except for the use of drones used by the police, two drones used by individuals flew over and recorded the gathering," the Police Directorate announced.
It is added that the police informed the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Cetinje about the controversial part of the content shown on the video beam where Kaluđerović was, who stated that the incident did not contain the elements of a criminal offense whose prosecution was being undertaken ex officio.
"Regarding the illegal use of two drones, officers from the Cetinje Security Department grounded them and identified the drone users, which will be reported to the Civil Aviation Agency in order to take measures within their jurisdiction. Apart from the two events mentioned above, there were no other incidents or violations of public order at the gathering. This public gathering was filmed by the police with cameras and drones in accordance with the Law. The police call on all citizens and organizations organizing public gatherings to respect the laws and prescribed procedures when reporting and holding such events," it was announced.
