"Here he is at the gas station... we'll finish him off, remove all the cameras... everything is clear, but we'll let you know, but everything is clear, be prepared," he wrote in one of the messages Vidoje Stanišić while he and his team were trying to complete a task given to them by the top of the Kavač clan - to kill a member of a rival group Igor Krstović.
This message was sent by a Podgorica resident to the suspect on January 28, 2020. Saša Stanišić while they followed Krstović and waited for the most opportune moment to open fire on him with automatic weapons.
On the same day, the alleged leader of the Zeta branch of the Škaljari criminal group was seriously wounded in Zeta, and Vidoje Stanišić i Dragisa Bulatović They were first suspected, and later accused, of attempting to murder him.
Documents from the investigation show that the hunt for Krstović by a group of Kavča residents became a daily occurrence from mid-January of that year...
After initial delays, procrastination, and pressure from leaders to finally complete the job, Vidoje Stanišić informed his close relative that everything was ready...
"Here he is at the gas station, now we are waiting for him here in the street, there he is at the gas station with the car... We will take him there, in the street," one of the voice messages states.
And then he sends a text message: “This guy is dead”...
Investigators claim that on the same day, but from a different Sky account, he also sent text messages glorifying his escape after the crime.
"How we escaped like a doctor"... Yes, but the Plav people stopped at Vujačić's. And Astra was with them... I don't know how we
"They didn't stop... On the bridge near Lakovica, a blue HT, an Astra... Gila inside, me in the back, just a plane," he says in some of the messages.
Krstović was shot while he was in his car, in the Zeta neighborhood of Balijače.
After firing more than twenty shots in his direction, the attackers set their vehicle on fire near the old shooting range on Kakaricka Gora.
"The police were shocked to see how the car burned down completely... Completely burned down... Wow... Everything went well," the now-defendant Vidoje Stanišić states.
A few days later - on February 2, 2020, he forwarded to the same interlocutor a correspondence with a highly-placed Kavčan resident, Milan Vujotić, from that day, in which Stanišić, under the nickname Avatar, sent messages: "Because Gile poured 101 inside with a can of soda, me in the back, Dragiša in the front... With bottles of Coca-Cola, me and Dragiša"...
Two days later, he sends Vujotic: "We also burned the cattle behind the house in the corner, where the cattle are, see that nothing is left, any pieces or anything... And just see that nothing that was burned fell out behind the house... If they find that - a problem."
Special prosecutors claim that suspect Radoslav Gile Stanišić also wrote to Saša Stanišić three days after the attempted murder - on January 31, 2020:
"We didn't touch him without gloves... The gun grazed my leg a little, but I fired it... We didn't go outside, we threw the gloves in the car, and fired them at high altitudes... It was the stuff we didn't wear," investigators quote part of the messages from the once protected telephone program.
Procrastinated too much
According to messages already published by Vijesti, the people of Kavčić were in a hurry to quickly "finish off" Krstović, and he was the one who put the most pressure on them. Radoje Zivkovic called Yellow.
Due to the delay, he told his soldiers - the Stanišić brothers - that he would give the "job" to someone else if Zećanin was not eliminated within the next month...
This stems from correspondence from the once-protected Sky application, conducted on January 15th between Živković and Vidoje Stanišić.
"Okay brother, can we know when the latest, if not before we give the job, because we have to finish it, he keeps bringing people to them," the Nikšić native sent to Stanišić on January 15, 2020.
"Maybe we'll kill him tomorrow. As soon as we get the chance, we'll kill him as soon as we can," the Podgorica native replied, after which Živković, hidden behind the Sky nickname The Best!!!, gave the Stanisićs a month's deadline.
"Okay brother, I'll wait another month, if not - I'll give it to others, because we have to finish it," he writes.
Stanišić, hidden behind the nickname Avatar, sends him: "HONEST BROTHER!!! It will be finished by then!!!!!!"...
On January 20, 2020, suspect Živković sent a message in a chat group on Sky, which included Milan Vujotić, among others: "We are waiting for these Stanisićs, they should quickly kill Igor"...
Vujotić and Žuti at the head of the group
Vidoje Stanišić and Dragiša Bulatović are already on trial before the Podgorica High Court for the attempted murder of Krstović.
The two were arrested in the first weeks of the investigation - Bulatović on February 15, 2020, and Stanišić on February 28 of the same year. On the same day that Bulatović was arrested, the police also questioned Radoslav Stanišić, but he was not detained at that time.
More than six years later, at the end of August 2026, the investigation took a new direction.
On the orders of the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT), officers of the Special Police Department (SPO) arrested Radoslav and Saša Stanišić on suspicion of being part of a criminal team that was supposed to kill Krstović on the orders of Milan Vujotić and Radoje Živković.
The SDT suspects Raško and Radmila Džankić from Podgorica and Mersudin Čalaković from Rožaje of having committed the criminal offense of assisting the perpetrator after the criminal offense has been committed.
