The Mazda 3 was declared the "Car of the Fair" at the Budva Car Fair, according to the decision of an eight-member jury made up of specialized automotive journalists from Montenegro and the surrounding area, and one of the members was a representative of "Vijesti", the author of this article.
In addition to being the newest model presented at this event (arrived directly from the world premiere in Frankfurt), the "troika" also meets all other criteria for this award.
The most modern SkyActiv technologies of the drive, transmission and chassis, combined with materials close to the premium class and a very affordable price (the base model with aluminum rims and automatic air conditioning costs 15.590 euros), made this car, exhibited at the stand of the "Efel Travel" company, get majority favor of the jury.
In addition to this award, prizes were awarded in 10 other categories, so the Opel Adam (Osmanagić Company stand) was declared the "City Lifestyle Car", the "Family Car" was the Toyota Corolla (Efel Motors), and in the crossover category the award went to Renault Captur (Alliance).
According to the jury, the "SUV of the fair" is the new Jeep Grand Cherokee (Ben-Kov), the "Business Limousine" Škoda Octavia Bussiness (Autočačak), while the "Most Exclusive Car" without real competition is the Mercedes S-Class (Jjetopis Automotive).
The jury declared the small Japanese electric scooter Yamaha EC 03 (Efel Motors) the "Ecological Vehicle", the "Motorcycle of the Fair" was the KTM 1190 Adventure (Tuttomoto), and the "Hit of the Fair" was the Fiat 500L Trekking (Kov-Car).
The special award went to the lubricant factory FAM.
